Processing technology machines
Processing is part of process technology and is as diverse as its processes and the machines used.
Process steps such as breaking, grinding, sieving, pressing or changing material properties in general are as much part of this process as the altering material compositions e.g. through filtration, distillation, mixing, etc. As soon as raw materials are processed, they come into contact with various system components. The more abrasive the raw material and the greater the stress, the greater the wear and tear on the interior of the system.

Crushers & mills
Crushers and mills crush or grind lumpy feed material into a fine-grained end product - using impact, shearing and bouncing forces.
Crushing plants usually operate with size separation devices (sieving, sifting). In case of lower requirements for the degree of fineness of the end product, (hammer) crushers are used for size reduction. (Beater) rotor mills, also called impact mills, are used for the coarse or fine grinding and disagglomeration of soft, medium-hard, fibrous and brittle materials. Hammer mills are used as grain and feed mills in the food industry, as well as for shredding wood waste and plastic waste, etc.

Pan mills
The pan mill is a grinder for crushing and mixing of clay, stones or ores, but also for paper raw materials or food.
One or two standing heavy discs, the so-called runners, rotate around a vertical axis on a base plate and grind the contents. Pan mills are suitable for grinding sticky, wet, moist or dry materials and are therefore often used in heavy ceramics.

Conveyor components
Conveyor technology is a sub-discipline of mechanical engineering and deals with the planning, design and construction of conveying tools for conveying piece goods or bulk goods.
These include continuous conveyors such as screw conveyors, roller conveyors, rotary valves, belt bucket elevators and belt conveyors. In-house transport systems are primarily used for transporting conveyed goods from the feed point to the discharge point as efficiently as possible and are therefore often subject to maximum wear and tear.
Regardless of whether impellers, rotary valves, bucket elevators / elevator buckets, chutes, cyclones, belt scrapers, full-blade screws or agitators, KRAUSKOPF offers customised wear protection for the best return on your conveying equipment.
Fans
Fans are available in various designs and versions.
Depending on air flow rate or pressure difference, centrifugal fans, axial fans, diagonal fans or cross-flows fans are used for industrial applications. The wear on the impeller may be particularly significant if fine abrasive substances (e.g. aluminium hydroxide or aluminium dioxide) are carried along in the air flow.
