The rotor bearing essentially consists of two main assemblies: Rotor shaft and rotor hub. The driven rotor shaft is friction-locked to the rotor shaft of the mixing tool by means of screw connections.
The V-belt pulleys are essential machine elements of a V-belt drive. V-belts are used to connect the rotor shaft to the shaft of the drive motor.
The V-belt connects the two V-belt pulleys and thus the respective drive shafts with each other.
The mixing pan cover is part of the mixer frame and also serves as a connection for feeding the aggregates to be mixed.
The mixing pan door is sealed by a separate seal between of the mixing pan and the door of mixing pan.
The seal of mixing pan consists of elements that rotate with the mixing pan (e.g. internal sealing ring), but also stationary elements that are firmly connected to the crosshead of the mixer (e.g. external sealing ring). The inside is sealed with a thermoplastic elastomer (sealing lip inside/outside).
The base or wall of the mixing pan is protected against wear with separate protective plates. With the exception of chilled cast iron tiles, designs made of composite armour material, rubber, steel, Hardox® or ceramic are possible.
A bottom- and wall scraper is used to ensure that the mixing pan wall and areas of the bottom remain free of product caking. This has a modular design and consists of the tool holder, the individual wall scrapers and the corner tool, as well as the corresponding bottom scraper blade.
The mixing tools ensures homogeneous mixing of the materials to be mixed. The design of the mixing tool can vary depending on the requirements of the material to be mixed (star-/drum- type, pin-type, suction or H-type rotor tool). A combination with mixing stars is also possible.
The ball bearing slewing ring is the “main bearing” of the mixing pan for transmitting the rotary motion - designed for high axial forces and tilting moments.
The mixing pan reinforcement ring is an additional reinforcement of the mixing pan bottom.
The discharge gate is responsible for the complete emptying of the mixing pan. It consists of the components flap gate, profile seal, pressure ring, bearing, supporting arm and flange bearings.
The friction wheel (right) transmits the rotary motion from the drive motor to the mixing pan by means of static friction. In the picture on the left, this task is performed by a gear drive and gear rim.
Depending on the version, the lower drive motor rotates the mixing pan. The upper motor generates the necessary torque for the mixing tool. Both drives can be controlled independently of each other.
