For discharge feeder
Mixing systems are operated both in batches and continuously.
If a mix is to be prepared in batches but the subsequent process step, e.g. “shaping”, is to be carried out in continuous operation, a collecting container must be installed after the mixer that can hold the entire batch and then feed it continuously to the shaping machine. Here, a discharger feeder, ensures reliable emptying and even dosing of the mixture.
KRAUSKOPF supplies the following components:
Discharge feeder

The mix is picked up from the rotating table feeder via the discharge blade and discharged via a volume flow. The discharge blade can be adjusted during operation, allowing the quantity removed to be reduced or increased. It is usually made of wear-resistant steel.
The discharge tool / scraper in the center serves as a discharge aid for the material flow. It is equipped with armoured, interchangeable segments and determines the rough direction of flow.
A sectional steel crossbeam is used to attach the clearing device and is connected to the machine frame with screws.
The discharge pins are used to loosen the material. They are protected with an armouring and firmly bolted to the base of the plate.
The inside of the discharge feeder, in particular the plate base, is protected from abrasion by linings. The segmented wall and base plates are also made of wear-resistant steel.
