Engineering, prototyping and sampling

In order to find constructive and feasible solutions for demanding tasks in spare and wear parts as well as wear protection, the development process often involves prototyping.

In addition to manual measurement of complex free-form surfaces of physical models, laser technology opens up new possibilities for 3D creation. The resulting models are structurally adapted in appropriate CAD programs and wear-optimised. The field test is carried out at customer locations after the initial production.

Although finite element and flow calculations are only part of the engineering, they play a crucial role during the entire development process. They form the calculation basis for forces, strengths, mass accelerations, material properties, etc., but also the basis for the shaping of components.
